Caddo Lake is the only natural lake in Texas
Synopsis
When an 8-year-old girl goes missing on Caddo Lake, a series of previous deaths and disappearances begin to connect, changing the story of a dysfunctional family. On a wall, Anna’s mother says “Marshall County,” later she says “Harrison County.” Marshall is the county seat of Harrison County, Texas.
But it’s also hard to get past a very slow-paced setup
Never Change by Dylan Altman, Rodney Clawson, and Jake Mitchell, played by Rodney Clawson. I left knowing nothing, and I think it’s better if you do it that way.
But when it does happen, it’s worth it
Nothing happens for the first quarter of the movie, and it seems pretty boring… and while something does happen at that point, it doesn’t really get interesting until halfway through the movie.
And for a movie without any famous actors, they all do a great job
I understand that the setup is important and necessary to make the rest of the movie work, but I still think they could have done it at a faster pace; and if they succeeded, I’d probably give this movie 8/10. Highly recommended!
