Synopsis
11-year-old Alfonso, Don Quixote’s heir, and 3 imaginary and musical rabbits join Pancho and Victoria to save their beloved city of La Mancha from a massive storm. References E.T. (1982). Watching it with the family is a different movie. It has a nice message and a lot of humor, the rabbits are very good! Cute characters, great art design and photography. Its handmade look is similar to Laika projects, but lighter. Sometimes the editing is a little fast, but maybe it’s appropriate for the current times. We were surprised by the quality of the animation, especially as an independent film. It reminds me of The Goonies or Stand by me. It has a lot of movie references, which we loved. The ending is very emotional and the story in general spoke volumes to us as a family after the film.
