It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy a 1920s Spanish-style villa, which they think will solve all their problems. Both Dennis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present). A very slow burn, however, so my review isn’t based solely on that, but overall it’s not a great or bad series. Despite some of the things they deal with, you don’t seem to care about any of the characters. At times it felt like it was trying to be a comedy (or dry comedy) about selling houses and then it veered into something else. The series didn’t have clichés & didn’t have any misguided parts, because of plot holes that left you feeling unsatisfied. It was well-presented, but maybe it was the script or the director who didn’t bring a strong story to the screen. The twists within a twist in the last few episodes were really good. Not a series worth rewatching, but good enough to watch once. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly – here’s the full lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
